Tonight, I saw him on the stage of TOKYO KOKUSAI FORUM and listened to his vocal and guitar playing. He gets old, but his voice was still charming. He began his concert seventy minutes' delay and kept on singing for three hours without intermission. Strange but it was just like him to do that. I love him.

　「奇跡の開催」ジョアン・ジルベルト東京公演を 観た。彼のヴォーカルは
彼自身のヴィオラォンの演奏からさえ自由になろうとする。比喩ではなく、
全く散文的にいってそうなのだ。そんな自由が成立するのだろうか。
　恐ろしいひとだ。
